Reiki is an ancient and powerful form of hands-on healing. This energy flows through all life and follows the energy pathways of the body, known in Eastern medicine as the meridians and chakras.

However, Reiki is much more than a healing art, it is also an extremely powerful catalyst for human development and transformation. It connects the initiate with their innate power that opens the doorway to a journey unfolding the potential within. Reiki can thus be brought into any area of one's life.

Reiki teaches the practitioner to be a channel, in a state of meditation, and opens one to a process of letting go of ego bringing in the quality of unconditional love for self and for others.

Valee More’s development began in the early 90’s with psychosynthesis, a holistic approach to emotional and mental wellbeing enveloped within the transpersonal. Reiki training was another step along her path which gave a deeper understanding and an integration of energy and psychic development. As well as other healing modalities, in the late 90’s she also discovered craniosacral therapy, a therapy that is so close to energy healing but with a different focus, and another incredible catalyst for therapeutic change and growth.

She has been teaching Reiki since 1998 and because of her love of horses, developed this healing modality for animals. She has had a long relationship with animals, particularly with horses since a child and truly believes that Reiki healing has a significant part to play, not only for the benefit of our beloved friends, but also for the practitioner.

Valee brings a wealth of experience to her teaching and loves sharing Reiki with those that have a passion for horses and other animals.

Together with psychosynthesis, Valee also integrates EFT (emotional freedom technique) to address riding issues. Sessions are available by phone or in person.

Research - Reiki Accelerates Healing

At Stanford University in the 1970’s some tests were conducted on healing rats.

1. Control Group:
A group of 20 rats were given a tiny cut to their belly and left to heal.

Results: 10-12 days later the cut had healed

2. Fake Reiki Group:
Another group of 20 rats were given the same cut to their belly and were held for 15 minutes a day by a group of medical students who had never heard of Reiki.

Results: It took 16 days for the cut to heal

3. Reiki Group:
The last group of 20 rats were given the cut to the belly and given 15 minutes of Reiki a day until healed.

Results: Healing took 3-4 days
