Equine CranioSacral Therapy

CranioSacral therapy lies just under energy healing in its level of subtlety and is, therefore, very easily integrated with Reiki.

It is a very gentle therapy that unwinds connective tissue which supports the body and surrounds the central nervous system.

Because the craniosacral system is a core system, the therapy may penetrate to the core of the being on a physical, emotional/mental and spiritual level. It helps to rebalance the body enhancing the body’s ability to heal, strengthening the effectiveness of the immune system, reducing stress and has the potential to provide dramatic relief for a myriad of issues since the “craniosacral system is intimately related to, influences and is influenced by the nervous, musculoskeletal, the vascular, lymphatic, endocrine and respiratory systems.”

In this half day introductory workshop you will learn to:

• Tune into the craniosacral rhythm

Learn to release:

• diaphragms of the body
• some of the connective tissue that surrounds the brain and spinal cord
• including the TMJ
• and the joints of the body

Practice will be carried out firstly on people, then on horses.

Prerequisite: as this is such a subtle therapy the Certificate in Animal Reiki is prerequisite which enhances feeling in the hands unless already a health practitioner.
