CLEARING THE CHAKRA SYSTEM

Chakra dowsing
During the second day you learn to dowse the chakras before and after a chakra treatment (quick treatment). These are spinning vortexes that energise the endocrine system and nerve plexus. Dowsing the chakras gives you an experience of seeing energy moving and the changes to the system after treatment.

This day explores in more detail how Reiki heals and discusses such topics as the healing process, contraindications, its use in first aid and other uses for Reiki.

Chakra Treatment Experiences - Bucking
One of the pony’s used for this teaching day had been going through a period of bucking. The sacral chakra which is over the sacrum, was not rotating and was going back and forth in the horizontal plane. After the treatment this chakra had started spinning again and on following up the bucking had improved.

Calming Effects
A gave a couple of chakra treatments to a local dressage horse who at times could be difficult to ride. His brow chakra which relates to the mind and body rhythms, was very large and active, and the horse was excessively alert and fearful. His base chakra was tiny and hardly active at all which relates to being connected and grounded to the earth.

First treatment
During the first treatment the base chakra started to activate and the brow chakra had changed in size and speed. Also the solar plexus chakra was not spinning at all and the sacral chakra was uneven and on the small side - the horse was having difficulty with canter transitions on one rein.

Second Treatment
The brow chakra at the beginning of the second treatment, was nearly as big as it had been; the base chakra was not spinning but there was more movement than the first session. The solar plexus and sacral chakras had remained spinning and open.

After the second treatment the base chakra had opened again and the brow chakra had slowed and had reduced in size.

Follow Up
I saw the owner a few weeks later and she said that she hadn’t ridden her horse for a couple of days and was dreading getting on, and when she did ride him was very surprised that he was very calm which was very unusual for him.
