JASPER

• 19 year old Appaloosa gelding
• Good condition, gentle and easy going – bored
• Student: Barb Bedingfield

HISTORY

• Trauma to right eye: eye lid partially closed 4/6/06
• Urinary tract infection: been seen by vet
• Broken pelvis: right hip October 2004

Jasper had six treatments as below and several other short treatments to his eye. He was seen by the vet and the eye healing seemed to be complete by 7 July when he was again seen by the vet (see session 4).

Jasper was very receptive and enjoyed the treatments and knew that I was helping him.

14 June 06
SESSION 1 - 1hour 15 mins: Full & Chakra Treatments
Intention: for eye and bladder

Noticeable Energy Disruptions: Throat chakra: heat Loins: tingling 5mins Sacral chakra: lots of energy Mid left shoulder: energy pushing outward Mid barrel end ribs: warm energy

Intention: for eye, bladder and arthritis

Noticeable Energy Disruptions:
Croup: strong energy Mid barrel end ribs: heat Loins: tingling

3 July 06
SESSION 3 - 10 mins: Local: eye
Intention: for eye infection

Changes: Eye looked good after last treatment
Comments: Jasper only wanted 10 mins healing. His eye was watery and discharging infection

7 July 06
SESSION 4 - 20-25 mins: Energy Balance & local to eye & nose
Intention: for eye infection and nose laceration (new)

Noticeable Energy Disruptions: Heat over laceration
Changes: I have been doing daily treatments to Jasper’s eye and it looks awesome. Vet checked it today and was amazed.

8 July 06
SESSION 5 - 20-25 mins: Energy Balance & releasing the spine
Intention: for eye, nose laceration and wellbeing

Changes: Nose is healing really well; eye appears normal

17 July 06
SESSION 6 - 1 hour 15 mins: Full Treatment
Intention: for eye, nose laceration and back

Noticeable Energy Disruptions: Lots of unwinding and releases along the spine
During the treatment he was licking, chewing and falling asleep – he loves Reiki

Tutors Comments:

• Taken one month to heal the eye infection
• Notice comment fifth session after one treatment “Nose is healing really well”
• Even though Jasper’s eye is healed there is no harm in continuing some
a healing.
• In this case I would continue with treatments to the back as there is obvious
adisruption along the spine. I would also focus on the right hip, due to the trauma ait has received in the past, until there is no obvious energy disruption in the
aarea. I assume that it is the right hip that has the arthritis.
