The Magic of Reiki with Valee More

Unexplained Unsoundness

Reiki continues to "amaze" me with its results. It's such a subtle modality that the practitioner able to pick up disruption in the energy flow can locate dysfunction at the physical level. Below is a testimony by Jody Vodanovich regarding her eventer who had unexplained unsoundness on the left rein.

What's Wrong With Roger?

"My horse Roger started this nodding of his head and dropping his shoulder on the left rein only. When I rode on the right rein and in straight lines there were no signs of lameness at all. He had physiotherapy and chiropractic treatment and they found nothing with either of these treatments, although these treatments did him no harm at this particular time they did not help either.

I was having a dressage lesson with my instructor and when I changed the rein the lameness was very apparent so much so that my instructor thought it best we end the lesson.

I then had my vet call out to scope my horse:

1. He was first put on the lunge, no signs of lameness. (I had had him x-rayed the year prior and the x-ray was clean so I knew it could not have been anything there).

2. He then performed a flexion test that too was good - my horse is 14 and I was pretty happy with that result.

3. We trotted him up and down, and after that I hopped on him and rode in
straight lines, nothing showed. I rode on the right rein, he was fine.
I changed to the left rein, he was not good, in fact very bad.

In a nutshell the vet admitted he did not know what we were dealing with. I gave him bute for 10 days and there was no change in him at all. That in its self halved the possible problems.

The lady who grooms my dog told me about this Reiki treatment. I use Bowen therapy on my horse during my competing season and this really works well for us as a good maintenance, so I'm not afraid to try alternative treatments and proceeded to call Valee to make an appointment.

Roger Has Reiki

Valee came around and worked on Roger. I have to say he looked pretty sad that day however after her treating him, he was actually talking to me I suppose saying thanks.

Valee found troubled areas in his poll, jaw, left front knee, shoulder etc". (Valee's comment: It is normal to find areas of trauma or dysfunction with Reiki. In areas of dysfunction the energy flow is usually dramatic, the tissues may unwind and in this case during the first treatment the knee unwound a lot and then clicked.)

Jody goes on to say: "I did not ride him for that week but did ride after the second treatment. We were in the forest and his whole attitude was up beat and he was really happy and listening . I then worked him in the arena and I was amazed that the problem had completely disappeared. I really thought that I was going to be looking for another horse this season and that he would simply become a paddock mate. I'm so grateful to have been put onto Valee, and I know that my horse is grateful that he has been heard.

I recommend this treatment to everyone, not only on horses but anything that can possibly be treated with it. I'm not going to say it will solve all problems you have but it certainly is a fantastic starting point and it worked for us.

I have a friend who is a total skeptic and laughed at me when I told her about this treatment, and if she had not seen how bad my horse was and how cured he was after the treatments she would not have believed it.

I look forward to a happy eventing season on my beloved friend."
