HEALING ~ LEPROSY (mid April 05)

The above photos were taken 2 months apart showing the possibilities of Reiki. A year later there is still only a scar below the eye and all 5 lumps had gone within 4 months.

“I gave a very short healing session to my cat Nefratiti, who has Leprosy. She was very receptive to it and the next day the lump on her right eye started swelling and continued to swell until the forth day it burst. The lump continued to drain and shrink and was gone within 2 weeks and now is just a scab. Next, the lump on her tail swelled to the size of a large egg, burst and is still draining and is now less than half the size it was (mid June 05).

The vets had told me there is no cure for leprosy, but I had been using homeopathics for years; the lumps would drain a little bit and always grew back within a couple of weeks”.

The photos below show before and after shots of a severe allergic reaction.  He received 3 Reiki treatments.  The swelling and lumps reduced drastically by approximately 50% within an hour after receiving his first treatment...

Canine Lost Confidence
Reiki for Mocha – Urban Disaster Search & Rescue Dog

Mocha is an Urban Disaster Search & Rescue Dog.  She is trained to detect live human scent in or on collapsed buildings after earthquakes, natural disasters, terrorist attacks etc. When Mocha locates live human scent she stays and barks so that rescue teams know where to dig to rescue the person.

Mocha received 4 Reiki sessions to help her get back on track and happy again with her search and rescue work.  She was stressed and very dependent on her owner and wanted her to rebuild her self-confidence.

I gave Reiki to Mocha’s chakra system and pendulumed them first to see how they were moving, gave her the treatment and then rependulumed them to see the changes.

Chakra Session 1
Before session:
Crown Open
Throat was good – spinning in a concentric circle not too fast, to slow or too small or large
Heart slow movement and holding sadness and disassociated (fainting feeling)
Solar plexus moving side to side
Sacral chakra not very active and holding fear
Base chakra wasn’t very active

Chakra Session 2
Mocha was brighter and searching a bit better

Before session:
Crown good
Throat spiralling
Heart smaller – holding sadness
Thymus holding sadness
Solar plexus moving side to side then spiralling
Sacral spiralling in and out
Base much better than last time

After session:
Throat oval but strong movement
Heart oval but strong movement

Chakra Session 3
Feedback: Mocha more enthusiastic training.  Before sessions 3/10 Now 6-7/10  (10/10 = working optimally 100%)

Before session:
Crown moving sideways, fast and big
Base, sacral, solar plexus, heart and thyroid all good

After session:
Crown chakra good
Heart good - a little emotional release during session
Base good - lots emotional releases during session

Chakra Session 4
Mocha searched in Christchurch and did very well.

Before session:

Solar plexus moving sideways - some fear during treatment

Base moving sideways and fast
(These changes would indicate that some stress had taken place which is very normal).

After  session:

Solar plexus good after but slightly slow

Mocha completed all of her obedience & agility tests this morning and aced her search on the rubble pile this afternoon.

She had 15 minutes to find 2 buried subjects and she completed it all in less than 5 [she was the quickest and most motivated dog there.

MY REIKI EXPERIENCE

My path to Reiki evolved through an interest in Bowen therapy. I had arranged for my horse to receive a few Bowen treatments, and throughout these treatments I became increasingly keen to learn more myself about animal healing. I attended an equine massage course, but felt that the therapy was too physical for me personally - I wanted to learn how to treat animals utilising a gentler and more intuitive therapy. I did some research and decided that Reiki could be just what I was looking for. A search of the internet failed to turn up anyone in New Zealand offering equine and pet training courses, so I resigned myself to having to go to England to study, and commenced training as a human practitioner instead, just to get the ball rolling. This was obviously meant to be, as it was during this course that I met someone who gave me Valee’s number!

I immediately rang Valee, and discovered that she had a course commencing almost straight away! It was really exciting to be finally traveling along the path that I had wanted to be on for so long. Valee is an incredibly spiritual woman, with infinite knowledge and wisdom that she is very willing to share. The course itself is a perfect mix of theory and practical “hands on” work. The case studies that Valee requires to be completed before obtaining your qualification certificate are invaluable for ensuring that you get out there and practice on strange horses or pets and learn to deal with each individual’s quirks and issues. Valee’s feedback after reading the case studies was extremely useful also – she made some very perceptive comments that I have been able to incorporate into my current Reiki practice.

With Valee’s full support, I have decided to start my own equine and pet Reiki practice, and have been inspired and assisted by Valee in doing this. You are certainly not left floundering on your own after the course finishes – I have maintained regular contact with Valee to talk through any practical Reiki issues that have arisen, and also in a mentoring capacity with regard to the start-up of my own practice. Valee also offers the opportunity to attend refresher practitioner training days, should you so desire, so you are ably supported for so far as you wish to take your new Reiki skills!!!!

MY REIKI EXPERIENCE - By Correspondence

About a year ago, I was introduced to Reiki when I purchased a horse who was unknowingly in desperate need of some emotional healing and I didn’t know how to help her. A professional horse person recommended that I learn Reiki healing and that I contact Valee More as an instructor/mentor/master. I followed up on the suggestion and currently find myself completing my Reiki III training all via correspondence. It’s been an amazing experience of awakening, expansion of perspective, healing, and learning.

The course was comprehensive in that it taught me gradually and thoroughly with lots of hands-on work to build my confidence and skills. The manuals encompass the Reiki hand positions for treatments, provide diagrams and guidelines, include research articles, outline lessons in energy awareness, and are complimented by lessons in Reiki “thinking.” I enjoyed the freedom of doing correspondence work because it allowed me to proceed at my own pace, in my own time, and with extra attention to those areas of my choice. There was always support, encouragement, and guidance from Valee whenever I needed it either by phone or email, as well as insightful and helpful feedback on my work. I would highly recommend Valee’s correspondence course to others.

When I started the course, I was rather unsure of the whole energy system and about Reiki. Today, I can’t learn enough! The experiences I had while learning Reiki changed my whole perspective on the power of energy healing, on myself, and my connection to the world. I learned to listen to my intuition; to feel the energies of the spirit beings around me and to ask for their assistance with healing sessions; and to sense the energies of animals and people and distinguish where healing was needed. I am able to connect with my animals on a whole new level now. I had amazing visions which helped me to understand myself more fully, to grow emotionally, mentally, and spiritually, to heal past traumas, to release negative energy patterns, and to see the world and all its creatures as part of one connected energy.

Reiki has had an amazing influence on my life and I would recommend studying Reiki for anyone who wishes to connect with the universal life force energy and to help heal themselves, their animal companions, other beings on this planet, as well as the planet itself.
